Required Documents

  1. Income Proof Requirements
    • the monthly salary of employer must not be less than HKD $15,000,
    • or provide sufficient financial proof (such as payslips for the last 3 months),
    • or have bank passbook/statement deposits exceeding HKD $360,000 for the last 6 months.
  2. A copy of employer’s  Hong Kong Identity Card
  3. Documentary proof of residential address: (rates, electricity, gas, water, home telephone) from the last 3 months.
  4. Information of Family Members: Names, identity card numbers, and dates of birth.
  5. If employers are living in public housing, a proof document from the Hong Kong Housing Authority is required.
  6. If employers have already employed helpers, please provide the name, identity card number, and contract termination date or visa expiration date.
  7. If the employer cannot provide proof of income, they need to provide a recent copy of the tax return along with a copy of the marriage certificate (for example, if the couple loses their marriage certificate, a child’s birth certificate can be used as corroborating evidence), or a copy of the birth certificate (for prove the relationship between parents and children).
